Seems like every time I open a visualizer and leave it there for a minute or two, it crashes. I'll try to come up with a more consistent duplication procedure. For now it may be helpful to know I'm running XPSP2, dual-core 3Ghz, 2GB RAM, dual 10k 120 SATAs (Raid 0), and dual monitors.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

This could be vs.net closing the connection ? Visualizers get their data serialized from vs.net.

Does this also happen when you leave the dataset visualizer open for a couple of minutes?
