I am trying to convince my boss to use llblgen instead of nhibernate. We are not yet customers of llblgen pro, but it would be very usefull to have a demo of the 2.0 generated code to see the benefits of generics, nullables and the .net 2.0 new stuff in the DAL. ( i.e. northwind would be ok )

Please could you post such example? It would be excelent, and if its good, i think it will make the difference. (just a plain northwind with adapter, SqlServer, .net 2.0)....

Thanks!!

At the moment we don't have an example ready with the .NET 2.0 features illustrated, so I can't give that to you.

I could mail you the .chm with the very early beta docs which illustrate roughly the major new things in v2. Is that ok? What are the arguments of your boss to opt for nhibernate instead?

Hi Frans,

I'm reviewing LLBLGen as well, and would very much appreciate having the beta .chm for review.

In a recent post, you mentioned the beta would last approx. 30 days: Are you still on schedule with that timeframe?

TIA, Rob (rob at 7software dot com)

It will be likely we're releasing around early june, but if the examples aren't yet finished, we'll take another week or so.

I'll mail you the .chm file. simple_smile

(edit) mailed. If you haven't received it, I think it's been caught by spamfilters.

Daer Otis,

sorry to disturb you with the same question but I'm in a similar situation (testdriving LLBLGenPro and wanting to see the 2.0 improvements )

Could I also receive the beta 2.0 documentation please?

Thanks in advance,

C+++
