Montevideo, Uruguay.

It's not dry here either :-P

You would be suprised about the average salary of a developer here (about 10% of the U.S.A. average) frowning

I'd rather have just wet. Last night we had small tornado in town. Minor damage, a chicken laid the same egg three times (that's an old tornado alley joke...) Just plain wet and rainy sounds good right now.

We're starting to get a little casual about it. It was evening, we were out on the front porch after a pretty heavy rainstorm had passed, and were enjoying the fresh air when the sirens went off. We scanned the sky for debris in the air, listened for the roar, and finding none shrugged our shoulders and stayed outside. Tornado. Bah!

Because we have so many (but not usually in November), the radars here are very accurate, telling you where they are down to the half-kilometer. I've watched them pass within a mile from me and felt safe because I knew the intensity, placement, and path. Weird.

Sounds pretty good. What does $350,000 get you in or around Austin in a relatively nice area (not looking for the best area, just a good one). How's the weather? Sorry for pumping you, but we're considering moving along and I've heard Austin is a nice place to live... Jeff...

I took this discussion off-line and sent you an email.
