This is the message I'm getting when querying the data source. I do have a reference to the generated DBSpecific project that contains the file DatabaseSpecific\App.config.

I do have a reference to the generated DBSpecific project that contains the file DatabaseSpecific\App.config.

Copy that app.config to you top level project (the winforms, wpf, or web project [if web it should be merged with your web.config]).
