All - I'm using the latest and greatest LLBL version and the latest version of Infragistics. I'm using my llbl code as adapter and using the llblgen datasource. When I bind a entity to a infragistics 'ultrawebgrid' - it creates several layers of bands and shows all the hidden LLBL internal properties. Is there any out of the box way to supress this or do I just need to go to the markup and remove anything that I don't need or change it to hidden. Assuming that if I want to do updates and insert the I need to just change them to hidden.

Any general guidelines for using LLBL with infragistics controls?

What is the latest version of Infragistics? Apparently, the grid had some bugs in retrieving the schema of the objects: http://www.llblgen.com/TinyForum/Messages.aspx?ThreadID=11401

You can use devexpress or telerik.

Its 2007.3 - it looks like it uses all the internal llbl properties and tries to auto discover relationships and creates nested grids based on the relationships. .. I'll try supression some of the columns... is there any update on the infragistics situation?

Yes, we've asked them to fix their code once and for all or we would put a remark on our website that we would suggest our customers to go for one of their competitors instead of infragistics. This quickly set things in motion, and they assigned an engineer to the case which asked us how to implement ITypedList and made it work. However, as infragistics' release policy isn't focussed on customer satisfaction, they have added this new code to their upcoming new release.
