Hi i have been trying to exclude 2 classes from the dotfuscator renaming process but it seems like i need some special degree or something because i am unable to figure out how to exclude these classes from this renaming process. I get is to rename everything or nothing at all.

Everything is so criptic. Help please! cry

Use the gui to exclude the classes. Just click, it's not rocket science wink

Yah right...

The just click option -"Disable renaming" checkbox seems to work for all classes in all assemblies but that is not what i want.

I need to exclude only 2 classes. This is what i have done so far. On the renaming screen, I clicked the "Add Type" button. Then i click on the "Type" node and set the name to the class i want to exclude from the renaming. I hope this is how it is suppose to work. Drag and Drop would have been nice.

Going to test this now.

Hey - wait!!

Frans in the help i see checkboxes next to each type in the treeview - Is this the "just click" part you were talking about? Because i dont have any checkboxes. Nada!

Let me register and see if there are any updates.

Aha! If you register you get checkboxes. smile

whoa you have 3d tabs? simple_smile . I use an older version then it seems. But I get checkboxes next to each type, so disabling them is a piece of cake.

Aha - now you see what i mean.

I'll rather have flat tabs with checkboxes than 3d tabs with no checkboxes. wink

Keep your old version - as it does not seem possible to go back. Uninstalling the upgrade leaves you with nothing.

Funny thing - the checkboxes does seem to be there - but they are not visible. Propably a painting problem.
