It's indeed a bit of a pain to set up, though the editor could indeed benefit greatly from intellisense in some way. There was just not enough time to develop intellisense in the editor of QuickModel, and also in many statements you only input non-existing elements, so intellisense isn't possible. Also the grammar is very ambiguous so the intellisense engine would often have to decide what to show.
We worked for 4 days straight to implement quickmodel, after thinking everything through, as that was the window we had to implement it. I'm glad we finished it in that short period of time.
So we'll look into intellisense in a future v3 version of the designer, though in what shape or form it will be added to quickmodel isn't decided yet.
