Hello,

We're looking to create a silverlight application to replace an existing WinForms app. The silverlight application will have multiple "forms/pages." I know Silverlight 2 doesn't include navigation elements that support multiple pages out of the box, so I'm looking at some toolkits or frameworks to provide navigation and other common UI controls (Grid, menu, etc.).

The ones I've been looking at are:

  • Telerik: I like the fact it updates the browsers history
  • DevX: We currently use their ASP.Net controls, but they don't have many controls
  • Silverlight Toolkit Does anyone have experience with Silverlight UI control vendors they'd recommend?

Thanks, -Ryan Casey

If you're planning to do your App in SL2, your best bet to use Telerik studio. Great product and I've used their Navigation system with success. For SL3, keep an eye on MIX09.

Here is my site done with Telerik Page navigation. www.MicroIntelligence.Com

Coming from Winforms, going to Silverlight, there is only one.
