I use the Telerik controls and their recently hired evangelist Todd Anglin has created a C# to VB converter. It is a Yahoo Widget or can be added to your Google Personalized home page. I haven't tried it on anything fancy, but just simple code works so far.

Yep, C# to VB is pretty easy. It is the other way around that is hard.

Edit the settings - you can choose the direction of conversion!

Just finished reading Rapid C# with LLBLGen http://www.lulu.com/content/174470, free PDF Download linked on LLBLGen main page.

I've been a VB coder since I switched from Perl and PHP about 8 years ago. The book was so well written and easy for me to understand I'm considering trying to switch to C#. I'll start with a personal project that I can take my time.

Does anyone have a book recommendation? Something with a similar style as the book by Joseph Chancellor, previous link, would be perfect. Basically his style is show the code line by line, explain each line, summarize why do it that way.
