This is my first foray into model-first development with LLBLGen. Is there a way to set field (column) defaults in the designer to be used in the database creation script? The Catalog Details Viewer shows the Default Value but there's no way to edit it.

That thread is outdated, you can set defaults for type shortcuts, which are then propagated into the metadata, see: https://www.llblgen.com/Documentation/5.5/Designer/Functionality%20Reference/TypeShortcuts.htm
