Hello all. I'm looking at upgrading my license from 2x to 3.5 and I'm looking to see how much work will be involved in doing so. I've downloaded a trial of 3.5 but I can't seem to find the project converter. It's not located in the download section at http://www.llblgen.com/Pages/ListAdditionalDownloads.aspx#7. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

You can find "v2.x to v3.x migration templates" in the download section. Also please check this link

Thanks for the response and link to the documentation, but the migration templates aren't in the download section of the the public area. Furthermore, they aren't available for me in the customer area downloads. Its probably because I don't have a valid 3x license.

However, the documentation on the 3.5 trial download page states that the migration templaters are located in the download section, but its not there:

If you're already using v2.x, you can download the v2 to v3 project file conversion template in the additional downloads section

SD, could you provide a link to that tool? I've got an project on SQL 2008 due in a couple of weeks and I need to upgrade from 2x to 3.5, so I need to test it out and see how much work is involved in the upgrade. Thanks again.

It wasn't published on the public site, I've fixed that now. it's available now again in the additional downloads on the public site. Sorry for this inconvenience. (and the forum errors, caused by problems at our ISP.)

Thanks for your help, Frans. I'm looking forward to using this version of the product. I'm sure it will be as great as the previous ones.
