Version 3.1 on XP SP2

When you zoom out (three times for arguments sake) of the entity model using the zoom out button and then resize any part of the designer UI the model automatically zooms backs to the default 100% view.

I usually use a 1680x1050 desktop so it's not a problem but when running on a lower screen resolution it can be.

I didn't see anything obvious in the preferences to override this behavior.

Am I been silly ? simple_smile

(sorry, I should have stuck this in the designer forum)

It's not a biggie, some of our dev's run small desktops as the apps have to be 1024x768 compliant although most run 1280x1024, space can be a premium.

Ah I see what you mean... I think this is something to do with the modelview repainting itself and first setting the view back to 1:1, same thing when adding something to the modelview I think.

We'll look into it.

btw, 1024x768? that's pretty small...

Frans,

It certainly is. Add an office ribbon bar and your left with no space, since our systems have to run on PC's on vessels (tankers usually) we have to try and support legacy hardware to a reasonable degree.
