Hi,

After downloading version 2.6 Final, released May 15th, 2009. I have encountered "Type or namespace definition, or end-of-file expected", all of my EntityClasses have extra "}" at the bottom. This is in Code Generation process.

I already uninstall(including deletion of "Solution Design" folder) and re-instal, still the same problem appears.

I also created a new project and still encountered the same error.

Please help.

Thanks

Dextre

Hi Dextre.

The version is a bit old . Please update to the latest version and try again. I didn't see any problem like this before. Just in case it is about you project, could you please attach it (you could open a helpdesk forum if you want).

Hi Daelmo,

Thanks for replying, Sorry, the version is the latest, LLBLGen Pro 2.6 Released: 16-Jul-2009, Build : May 15th.

Please see attached files: sample project and generated Entity Class, you will notice the extra "}" char, I don't know if this is related with the template.

Thanks you very much.

I can't reproduce it. Your project file is fine as far as I can see, and the generated code is perfectly fine and compiles without errors.

So most probably you are using a modified template where the extra "}" has been added.

Hi Walaa,

Thanks for your reply. That's why I uninstalled and reinstall the system to make sure that I'm using the default setup, configuration and templates. Any other hint?

Btw, "compiles without errors" are you saying that your able to compile it without errors?

Please helpconfused

Thanks

Hi Daelmo and Walaa,

Thanks for your time. I use Revo uninstaller and it solve my problem.
