I remember when I was looking to have a dedicated server I looked at hostinguk.net and at the time their pricing was reasonable. In the end I opted to use Maximumasp.net; they are US based but since my audience is worldwide it made sense to place it in the US to allow for better connectivity for my international users.
Maximumasp.net are not cheap; I think it costs me $500 per month for 2 cpu dual core server with a SQL server license but I have had no major problems with the service in the last 3 years! major downtime is not an option for me!
