Hiya,

I have a developer license.Normally, I simply place the llblGenpro dll in the bin on the server and that sufffices.

However, I have a client that needs the entire source code for my web application, including that of all 3rd party components, ie llblGenPro.

My question, does the client also have to buy a license? If so, what's the cheapest price for their license?

Please reply asap.

Many thanks,

yogi

From what I know:

a) Yes, that client would require their own license. b) There is only one license 'type' available and the price only changes if you are ordering several copies. So, that would be US $355.70.

So, if the client wants the source, tell them it will cost US $355.70. Should be small amount of money compared with what they paid you to write it! sunglasses

Wayne is correct, the customer needs a license. That license covers all the sourcecode you'll ship to the customer. We distribute the sourcecode of the runtimes to licensees under a modified BSD2 license, however that's for the customer to be able to alter the sourcecode and be able to distribute the compiled versions of that changed sourcecode without worries.

Distributing the sourcecode isn't what customers should do, as stated in the header of each sourcecfile:

// Distribution of this sourcecode and binary compiled versions of this sourcecode // are licensed to LLBLGen Pro licensees using the following license below.
