I got a new laptop with Vista Basic installed. When install llblgen pro 2.0 Final it runs through the whole process but at the end it gives me an error message, as copied below, and rolls back the entire installation. This happens totally at the end of the installation.

Please help, for our whole project uses our llblgen generated code from our llblgen project that we took hours, and hours to set-up.

Regards Helga

Error Message

The installed has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2869.

Pls note that i installed all other software the normal way without any errors.

I had this problem too, my only work-around.... disable UAC.

No problem, not a stupid question...

User Account Control = UAC

To disable, go to Start / Control Panel / User Accounts ...

Should see "Turn User Account Control on or off", click that link... then uncheck the: "User User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer"

You might be able to enable it once this install is done, but I did not, as I am tired of having to "allow" Visual Studio to start! simple_smile I think Vista seems a bit more smooth with it off too...

Let me know if you need any additional help.
