Hi all,

I'm looking for a decent tool that can allow me to record my windows "session" so that I can save it in something like an avi format. Does anyone here know of any good tools that will let me do that - the ones I have used only work in a propietry format, like webex recorder...

Thanks simple_smile

demobuilder. We recently purchased it to create videos for v2. It's great. You won't be dissapointed.

Camtasia is the best I've ever used.

Whatever you do, don't buy Captivate. Macromedia bought RoboDemo a few years ago and hasn't done anything to it other than give it the new name. It's still chock full of bugs.

We are currently looking at BB Flashback (http://www.bbsoftware.co.uk/bbflashback.aspx). Seems comparable to Camtasia but slightly less expensive and has a lite version as well. Here are a couple of reviews: - http://www.bitwisemag.com/copy/reviews/software/screencasts/bbflashback/bbflashback.html - http://www.bitwisemag.com/copy/reviews/software/screencasts/camtasia3/camtasia3.html
