I've been using http://www.freetextbox.com/ It does the job, but support isn't too good and i've seen a lot of people complaining about not getting the source after paying for a source license.

I've also heard good things about http://www.fckeditor.net/

I like FCKEditor a lot better than FreeTextBox. FTB comes standard with DotNetNuke and replacing it with FCK is always the first thing I do.

I used FreeTextBox for quite a while, but recently got fed up with it's little oddities (very picky about versions, which makes it hard to update).

I've switched to FCKeditor and use the provided asp.net control.

The only thing I prefered about FTB was the single dll distribution (it's not really possible with FCKeditor), but it meets my needs otherwise, plus it avoids all of the problems I had with FTB.

Thanks guys for the tip, The FCKEditor is real nice.

I need your tips on something: I can't find how to use it in a "View Only Mode" just to display the HTML, so normal users can only watch what editors have been writing!!

I'm using a Label to show the HTML in a view only mode, but I thought there might be a direct propert to set in the Editor instead of switching panes to hide the editor and display the Label. Since I'm using the same page for editing and viewing (in-place editing simple_smile )
