I'm trying to install LLBLGen Pro 1.2005.1 on a new 64-bit laptop. The installer gets most of the way through the installation process, then reverses and uninstalls saying

"The instruction at 0x00384ef0 referenced memory at 0x00384ef0. The memory could not be written."

Then...

"The installer was interrupted before LLBLGen Pro could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again."

I know I need to get more current--but I have a legacy project and updating it to use a newer version is a larger task than I can take on right now.

Are you using the latest release of v.1.2005.1? Did you try using the Administrator account to install LLBLGen Pro?

Install on a 32bit box -> copy over the installation folder to the 64bit box. The installer really just copies files to a folder and adds a registry key for vs.net where the runtime libraries are, but you can manually pick these as well in the add-reference dialog in vs.net.
