I want to get this LLBLGen thing and start putting it to use. But it seems my brain is a few years out of sync with the rest of the development world.

I've watched the screencap tutorials and was completely lost on the second one "Designer: Inheritance mapping".

I need to take a step back for a bit and try to learn more about O/R. Is there a good tutorial on just that part here or somewhere on the web? Ideally a video site similar to learnvisualstudio.net (which I have a lifetime subscription to) would feed my brain the best. But text articles are fine as well.

Feel free to suggest other core topics I should know before trying to use LLBLGen as well.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm still looking for links but I'm about through the first chapter of the book, download for free, listed on the main page of LLBLGen.

It is quite good and so far I understand it.
